Yes, Rice to Riches which serves more than a score of different kinds of rice puddings is super hot in Soho. Many people, both local and tourists alike, flock to this rice nirvana daily.
The interior of the store is just playful, creatively sleek and modernly lighted with bright colors. Really cool place to hang while enjoying your pudding.
It looks like they were selling homemade ice cream. But no! Only rice here. I love the different shades of color of the pudding.
I got their most popular pudding, Fluent in French Toast, and the day’s special, Apple Pie. The flavors are great! Just taste like the real thing, but in rice form. I topped my pudding with nuts to add texture to the smooth, velvety toothsome porridge.
Look at the take-out container! Isn’t that pretty?! How could I waste this after my pudding is long gone? Yes, I brought back this container with me to Chicago. 🙂
Another great thing about this place is the humor all over the walls, doors and even ceiling. The witty attitude of the place will just tickle you to lounge a little longer, relax and buy some more. Very smart strategy. 🙂
