What is life like four years after LVAD surgery? In April 2022, I was diagnosed with end-stage congestive heart failure. After months of treatment failed to improve my heart, I received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) in October 2022. One year after surgery, I made my first YouTube video to share my story. Today, I reflect on how heart failure has changed my life, strengthened my faith, and taught me to appreciate every day as I wait for a heart transplant. My journey is a story of family, resilience, gratitude, and hope for a purposeful second chapter of life.
