However, a common observation among friends, which I seconded, was that the food dwindled somehow in quality while the price inflated. Perhaps, the people behind the kitchen changed or whatever. But I think the food remains palatable and still looks pretty on the plate. (Chicago) – Shopping is my therapy. It doesn’t matter whether I actually buy things or just window shop but most of the time I end up purchasing things I really don’t need. I don’t care. With all the stress I get from work or other personal stuffs, walking around leisurely in malls or supermarkets brings that much-needed relief. That’s why most of my weekends; I drive around with some friends from place to place, check some shops and peruse whatever is on sale.

Ishi Mura – A Japanese Food Court
(Singapore) – For lunch breaks, we tend to go to the nearest place in our office – a hawker-style food court which serves local Singaporean cuisine. Once in a while, our palates get tired of tasting the same dish everyday! One of our new team mates introduced us to a nearby food court. It’s not an ordinary food court but a Japanese themed Food Court!
